Dum spiro, spero is an mp3 rotation site. This means that mp3 files are regularly rotated for download -- for sampling purposes only, of course. The point is to help people get interested in artists and music that you won't normally find on popular radio.Is this...JRock/Pop?
Well, we'd prefer not to label ourselves because all types of music will be offered here, but yes, most of the music here will be East Asian popular music, mostly JRock and Jpop music. If this bothers you feel free to request something else and we will find it for you!Dum Spiro, Spero
This site was created after I had crawled all about the internet through many wonderful mp3 rotations and realized that many of them didn't offer the sort of music I was looking for. I love Jpop as much as the next person, but you can only hear so much music in a language you don't speak before you start to want something else. So I decided to try and put together an mp3 rotation that offered not only Asian music, but music from all around the world as well as hidden gems in English that you won't hear on radio stations clogged with popular music. It was given the name dum spiro, spero, which means "While I breathe, I hope." in Latin.The Staff
